We had a beautiful sunny WINDY day for horseshoes on Sat. Oct.16,2010 which was the kick off to our local "Mark the Shark Toy Drive" as part of the Christmas in the Barns craft show at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Mackeyville.
14 pitchers were aligned in 2 double elimination brackets to battle for over $275.00 worth of gift cards generously donated by: Dunkin Donuts, Arbys, Aungst Family Rest., The Blue Chimney Rest., The Cottage Rest., KFC, McDonalds, Ingrams Mkt, Sheetz, Ruby Tuesdays, Dominos Pizza, Pizza Hut, and Burger King.
When the points were totaled and the clanging of steel on steel had subsided 8 pitchers; from Selinsgrove, Dallas, Howard, Milton and all points in between took home the spoils.
